Important changes to parking arrangements

Walsall town centre is undergoing a period of significant regeneration and development, spearheaded by the construction of the Town Centre Transportation Package (ring road).

During this period of change, visitors will benefit from careful journey planning that includes the final destination parking arrangements. With over 3500 publicly available parking spaces provided in Walsall town centre, there is always spare capacity, however spaces may be located in car parks unfamiliar to all visitors.

As a general guide, spaces can be found in the following car parks.

  • Bridgeman Street  (ECP Jerome Centre)
  • Bridgeman Street  (Saddlers Centre)
  • Freer Street  (NCP multi storey)
  • Hatherton Road  (Walsall Council multi storey)
  • Station Street (NCP multi storey)
  • Wolverhampton Street (Crown Wharf)
  • George Street (Asda)

To assist in locating unfamiliar car parks, new guidance signage is being installed at key decision making points on the highway network.
