Appointments announced

Walsall Council has announced a change in two cabinet portfolio holders.

Councillor Mike Flower will move from children’s services to environment with Councillor Rachel Walker travelling in the other direction.

Councillor Mike Bird said: “Following discussions with both Councillor Flower and Councillor Walker, they have agreed to swap portfolios in order to manage their commitments appropriately to concentrate on the projects in hand.”

This change will take place with immediate effect subject to confirmation at Full Council.
