Walsall Community Activity Network: Workforce and Skills Programme

Walsall Community Activity Network is made up from representatives from organisations who have the common aim of developing and increasing sport and physical activity within Walsall. The CAN has recently secured funding to help subsidise the cost of workshops aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of those either volunteering or working in the sport or physical activity sector.

The following Workshops are running over the next few months:

Equity in Your Coaching Workshop (SCUK)

This workshop designed for Coaches, will help you to understand what equity means and why it is important, identify barriers to participation, use appropriate language and terminology and to identify and challenge inequitable behaviour within sport and physical activity.

Date: Monday 16 March

Time: 6.30pm to 9.30pm

Venue: Shelfield Community Academy, Broad Way, High Heath, Pelsall WS4 1BW.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SCUK)
