Walsall’s Mobile Library Services have been bringing the library to the people of Walsall since 1982, from its base in Bloxwich.
The staff includes drivers, mobile library assistants, supervisors, Home Library Officers and managers who work together to bring library services to the residents of Walsall.
The Services we deliver are:
Urban Mobile Library service
A weekly service to over 40 sites throughout Walsall
Library Link Service
A monthly library service to people In Homes, Day Center’s, Sheltered Accommodation and Training Centre’s
Home Library Service
A library service to people in their own homes who find it difficult to visit their local library due to illness, disability or if they are a carer.

Telephone Book Club
A telephone reading group for Home Library Service users, running partnership with the Retired and Senior Volunteered Programme (RSVP)
Computers at Home
Computer training is available for Home Library Service users in their own home.
