Jobshop comments, compliments and complaints

If you wish to make a comment, compliment or complaint about Walsall Council’s Recruitment Services, you may do so:

You will be sent a letter of acknowledgement within five working days and in most cases, a full response within 15 working days. If the issue is a complex one, you will be told of any delay and advised when a full reply can be expected.

If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of a complaint then you have the right of appeal. You should, once again, contact the Head of Human Resources and Development within ten working days informing them of your wish to exercise your right of appeal, your complaint will then be re-investigated by different officers from within the council who have had no previous involvement in the process to date and who have no relationship with the service area whom you are lodging your complaint against.

Please note that complaints about other council services should be directed to the service area concerned. Alternatively, if you have been impressed by the councils Recruitment Services then we would like to hear from you.
