Homelesssness Strategy
The council's second Homelessness Strategy covers the period from 2007 - 2010.
The Strategy has been produced through joint working with partner agencies and consultation with service users and providers.
Our aim is to prevent homelessness wherever possible and ensure that people who become homeless receive appropriate support.
It sets out our current approach to homelessness and evaluates its effectiveness and success, identifies what gaps there are in service provision and how we will address these gaps.
