Community Playbus
The community playbus is managed within the Community Development team. The bus is available for hire for corporate events, consultations, roadshows, business sector or for the general public.
The community playbus is a mobile unit which is available across the borough to all neighbourhoods. This service is also available outside the borough delivering a first class service to all that use it. The playbus can target hard-to-reach groups/areas and the project can work with a range of diverse groups offering many different activities. Tailor made activities/projects are created to fit clients and requirements.

The community playbus has been serving the borough of Walsall for 26 years. The playbus staff are full and active members of the National Playbus Association, which is a nationally recognised charity and they have representation on their board. Approximately 250,000 people have been on the bus over the years. The playbus has been to every park and nearly every school in the borough. Working alongside a diverse range of partners including religious groups, corporate/private business, small organisations and private birthday parties to name but a few, this has also included working across the country.
The playbus is not only used by children and young people but for all; we can adapt to meet your individual needs.
