Visiting services
Visiting Services is part of Benefits Services. We visit customers who are unable to get into the First Stop Shop at the Civic Centre due to physical or mental issues. We also visit the elderly and infirm.
We give customers advice and help them complete claim forms for housing benefit, council tax benefit, free school meals and a range of welfare benefits such as Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance, Pension Credit and funeral payments. This service can be provided using a translation service or sign language.
If we help you complete a claim for housing and/or council tax benefit we will also process your claim.

- Friday - 8.45am to 4.45pm
