Welcome
Welcome to the website of Walsall Communities and Partnerships and Walsall Area Partnerships
Walsall Communities and Partnerships brings together different parts of our local community - public services, local businesses, community groups, voluntary sector organisations and local people.
Area Partnerships are bringing together local people, the council and its partners to make Walsall a place where residents are proud to live, work and play.
There are 6 Area Partnerships and together they cover the whole of Walsall.
Domestic and Child Abuse awareness event 20-26 May
Walsall Police and other agencies from Safer Walsall Partnership are joining forces to raise awareness of domestic and child abuse in the borough and to encourage victims and members of the public to report abuse.
Between 20-26 May there will be a Community Roadshow inside the Saddler Centre, Walsall town centre, where people will be able to get advice and information from police officers and other officials.
Two hard hitting films will also be shown throughout the week – the films have been produced as part of a series of multi agency short films with the aim of raising awareness of domestic abuse, child exploitation and other issues affecting our borough.
The films have been funded by the partnership and community organisations who recognise the importance and value of raising awareness and letting residents know how to report if they suspect abuse is taking place. A key message is that abuse in any form is not acceptable and should not be tolerated.
It is hoped that the campaign will encourage victims and the public to report abuse.
